How many miles a day on average Adzy?I was going to do a 20 earlier in the week but it was freezing.

Done about 24km (15 miles) today. In a week I usually do 2 10k runs, a 5k run and an easy session in the house on the spinner bike. I'll usually a have a few mile walk out somewhere local then every few weeks I go on these longer treks in the hills.

My favourite type of walk, on my own against the hill & the condititions. Very satisfying days that made the after-walk beers wonderful.

I must admit I enjoy walking in the dark on my own. I also live near a major rail junction so I get to see some funky trains in the early hours

A very well timed short walk seems it's now lashing it down. Crap year walking miles (250 outdoor activity walking miles) due to foot being a dick but onto 2024 & hopefully smash the miles outdoors, fingers crossed.

Ingleborough, Simon Fell and Park Fell today.
Been a good year of walking, bounced back from breaking my ankle in January to finish off The Wainwright's, complete the Lyke Wake Walk, climb mountains in Spain and just today ticking off the Yorkshire Dales 30!
Will have to start making some forays into the Peak District in 2024.

4.13 mile walk tonight, first decent night walk I've done for a very long time. Recovery from Plantar Fasciitis is improving & I couldn't be happier

Had to fork out a wedge on fixing the car so haven't been out on any treks lately. Nice easy walk round Herrington Park and Penshaw this morning though, got a few days off soon for my birthday so be down the Lakes for some hikes and planning a couple nights stay in the Peak District over Easter time.

Managed 17.4 mile yesterday and feel fine today. Wheatley Hill, Thornley Ludworth, Shadforth, Sherburn Hill, Sherburn, Gilesgate, Durham Cathedral, Shincliffe, Sherburn, Shadforth, Thornley, Wheatley Hill.
