Gigs back at sol

Is she that huge? Prior to the incident in Manchester, i hadnt even heard of her.

Me neither , but that was 18 months ago and since then we ( ie the family ) have got her last three CDs and become fans of her and i would guess there are very many more like us. I think its fair to say that that the whole Manchester thing totally expanded her audience and in fairness to her shes capitolised on it

Look at how many dates she plays though. It's the same as any big act over there, you play a ton of arenas in different cities rather than a few stadium gigs.

She's one of the biggest artists in the world right now. Bound to sell even more tickets over here as well because of what happened last year in Manchester.

The arenas and stadiums are generally bigger over there than they are here too

She is still only playing arenas in America , honestly hope we can do better then Arina Grande .
If it was that North east live, day festival, kind of thing and she was the headliner I think she could. Not just her though.

Dunno what you mean by better.....she is certainly better musically and vocally than the Spice Girls

I never said anything about her singing , but as a household name she is nothing compared to the spice girls in England.

I think she has a great voice but she would need to sell 35000 to 40000 tickets to makenit a success. Just unsure she has the pulling power to sell that many tickets

I’m know you didn’t meant it but the term ‘capitalised on it’ doesn’t put in her a good light.
It certainly made people aware of her but I don’t think she has used that to any advantage. I absolutely feel heart sorry for her having that to have dealt with. I’m delighted for her that she’s becoming one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
She’d sell out the stadium no bother also.

Ariana Grande wouldn't sell out a stadium

Why does she need to sell out a stadium to make it viable for a stadium gig?

More realistic amount and I think you would be surprised at how many would tip up for her - not my cup of tea but all about profile and profit.

Interesting, she'd be a great headline for something like that - an all-day teeny-bopper festival. Very much their demographic.

Especially if she brings her mate.

It wouldnt surprise me if most of the women that grew up with the spice girls now have kids who are into Ariana Grande who in turn will know about the Spices. It could well be that families in the region would go to both gigs

Miley Cyrus, obviously!

Just gone back to work today and everyone is buzzing about Spice girls. So if the rest of the North East is as buzzing as my little cafe it'll be packed

Same here. There going off their heads about it !! It’ll be a total sell out. Madness to suggest it wouldn’t.

Ticket prices are up for the Spice Girls.
Standing £77
Gold Circle £196
Seats £60.50, £77, £93.50, and £136.
There are other "VIP" packages available too.
That's from See Tickets with fees included.

So what's the best thing to go for, standing or seats? Never been to a stadium gig before, I'm probably a bit lazy and would like a seat but is the atmosphere as good? Id not be in the golden circle so wouldn't see much anyway and knowing my luck I'd get someone 6ft in front of me:lol:

Standing always used to include the bottom part of the stadium so you could do what you want.

Not sure that's going to be the case this time around. The FAQ section on SAFC.com says:

"I have a general admission ticket, where do I sit/stand?
Standing tickets are for standing space on the pitch."

No mention of standing tickets including unreserved lower tier seats as previous concerts did.
