I absolutely love the original ghostbusters but no need to have them in it....although I was laughing out loud at Winstons face looking at Spenglers ghost as they were busting Gozer
Naaa. Needed them there I reckon. If one thing could have made it better they could have been in it more, but it was nicely done nonetheless.

Hadn’t seen it so the posts tonight inspired me to have a look about for it. Just finished it. As a fan of the original I really enjoyed it. If you’re not into the old ones I can see how it would be a bit meh.

The two younger kids were really good. The podcast lad reminded me of Corey Feldman.
 
I enjoyed it but said at the time it came out people might want to dial back expectations a bit.
It's good, but I think the clever (manipulative?) move at the end made people leave the cinema thinking they'd seen a better film than they actually had.
We've still not had a real Ghostbusters 3 and sadly never will.
