England do it as do every other team. But there is a bit of a line between a bit of chat around the bat and warning someone they are going to be hurt. In fairness Anderson knew he was going to face hostile bowling, so I think the warning was a bit unnecessary. Basically it was Clarke being a tit.

Fair enough. As I say I don't watch cricket (apart from some of the Ashes when I can) so I don't fully understand it. From an outsider's view it seems very little to me (threatening injury may be a bit OTT but it happens in other sports) but that's fair enough.

It was Clarke doing what Australian fans do when they're team is winning, be a loud mouthed prick knowing victory will back them up. When the roles are reversed, he'll disappear into the background and be as invisible as the Australian fans will become.

Aussie media appear to be ramming home the 'fact' that England can dish it out but they cannot take it, nonsense. England didn't complain to the ICC, channel 9 picked it up via stump mic and the ICC acted accordingly.

Why would England be frightened of the convicts? We have won the last three series, 4 our out the last 5. We still have the superior side, the Aussies are mentally weak. They are using this victory to paper over the cracks of a very average side and a fractured dressing room.

I can only see Trotty's departure bringing our squad close together, we need to have a siege mentality; bloke out the Aussie moaning and focus on Adelaide.
