Kid called Nathan Carter from Liverpool who sings country songs. He is rolling in the cash because he has some tenuous link to ireland and sings country songs.

My in laws and aunties/uncles love the bloke.

Not everyone on the planet will like either or however they have sold the most records
That counts for something in my book

A musician plays an instrument.

I’m not having a pop at GM I think he was quite talented and had a decent voice although I don’t own a single song of his, but he was not a musician by any stretch.
 
His stuff with Wham was decent but his solo stuff wasn't my taste. Talented man but his private life probably did overshadow his career for a while.
