Absolutely superb musician, singer and song writer. That's all I'm bothered about on the subject. The song Jesus to a Child is incredible for a few reasons: it's a cracking song, it meant a lot to him, he wrote it in a single sitting, you don't have to move your hand at all on the frets to play the chords. Even The Beatles can't compete with that.

Also had the looks for posters which made him even more money.

Paperback writer had 2 chords: G and C. Not that that bears any relation as to the song's quality.

Think he was about 17 when he wrote it, had a great maturity to his songwriting even though it didn't really show in those early Wham! hits.

When they first approached their record company with demos, they had two songs, Wham Rap, and Careless Whisper, the label went with Wham Rap.
