Ash Sutton 2021 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Champion.

Congratulations to Ash from a big Turkington and WSR fan. He wasn’t the biggest and most consistent winner as his wins were rare but he was one of the biggest and most consistent points scorers. Picking up points frequently.

He says he wants to be one of the greats. He had better keep it to himself for now because 2022 things will be different. Hybrid power comes in. This will surely change the characteristics of each model. If he is still No. 1 next year he can say that. If he can evolve with it and still be a top racer then he can say that. Till then he needs to get his head down and just keep on working hard.
 
Toprak takes the WSBK title to end Jonathan Rea's reign of 6 consecutive title wins. The racing between those 2 and Scott Redding this year has been absolutely unreal.

Canny year for Yamaha in winning the MotoGP, WSBK, BSB and MotoAmerica titles.

kind of... although i thought the engine was only for the long stages to charge the two electric units, the engine doesn't drive the wheels at all... (yesterday was a short stage as it was cut short due to flooding apparently - today is the longest of the rally though).
