What connections and link ups he can play with newer players and how they fit into a team going forward.

Every training session and every game is an opportunity to improve as a team. If he isn't going to be here next season then I'd rather give game time to those who will be.

Especially when his form / attitude has arguably being inconsistent. I like him as a player and would loved to have signed him permanently...but if it's a no go, then I can see why he isn't playing.

Yes, but we aren't privy to the ins and outs of player relationships / attitudes....work rates, effort in training etc. Following of instructions.

There's all sorts of factors that managers consider when deciding whether to play certain players.

I just trust that a good manager like Regis has his own reasons for not picking him and as it looks like he won't be here next year - it doesn't really bother me.

It could be that the manager considers other players as giving us a better chance of a result for whatever reason. It's not as if he's been a solid 9 or 10 every time he's played is it?

I’d argue even with my limited football knowledge the lad is clearly a high level player and a bit above the likes of onien and even Hume and I rate Hume. When Reggie isn’t too keen on you it’s hard to make it back imho.

I'm also disappointed that he probably won't be here any longer. There's definitely a player in there. He was brilliant against Newcastle, but then conversely he was awful against Brentford away. Like 2 completely different players!

It depends. If there's a trigger that costs us additional money, or causes to buy him when he doesn't want to stay, then I absolutely understand why we wouldn't play him and waste time and money.

There's a clause in his contract that triggers after x amount of appearances. Reggie confirmed it.

If it has something to do with him going in the summer then how is Cirking getting game time coz he's off as well. I reckon he fell out with Le Bris and that's fatal, No way back after that.
