To be fair to the people who make the games, in real terms they are loads cheaper (and loads better) now, in the 90s you could spend 30-40 quid on a game if I remember rightly, in real terms they are cheap now so they need to make the money from add ons.

Agree gambling wrecks lives like alcohol or tobacco can. It’s weird that gambling is an advertising free for all but booze has restrictions and tabs have zero. Highest earning boss in the U.K. is a wifey running bet365, 250 million a year the radio said today. It’s like 700 grand a day
