Frank Lampard - manager rumours

I’d take him now. I’d even take Terry, or Neville, or Carragher. Christ, I’d take Jermaine Jenas at this point.

Just give it to any fucker man.

Probably the best out of the remaining options.

He seemed to do well developing young players. He also has the name recognition and connections to attract some decent loan players and maybe some fringe squad players from the big clubs

Only issue is a bad experience here might ruin future chances for him so not sure he’d want to risk it having to work under Speakman

Really don't get the hate for Lampard.

Got Derby to the play off final in his first season in management. Lost the final against a very good villa side.

His second season got Chelsea to 4th and an FA cup final

Third season he got Chelsea top of the Prem at xmas and top of their champions league group (which they went on to win).

Everton wasn't great but he kept them up in his first season and they were an absolute basket case.

I don't think it's fair to judge his brief time as caretaker at Chelsea as they are another basket case and things had hardly improved under Poch up until a month or two ago. This brief period has really damaged his reputation imo.

He has played at the highest level. What has Rosenior done compared to this that make him a standout candidate?

I’ve cancelled x2 season tickets this year bring him in and they can have the third …. Absolute fkn idiots

I’ve said for weeks I think he’d be a good choice.

I honestly doubt he’d take it under the current regime
Not a chance imo. If Rosenior, a bloke with barely more than a full championship campaign on his managerial CV finds the job unappealing what chance is there that Lampard would look at the working conditions and do anything other than burst out laughing.
