Forthcoming gigs.

Enjoyed it but I I felt Madness were a bit 'perfunctory'! Hit after hit but missing something, cant quite put my finger on it.. Sound wasn't great either. Squeeze always top notch.
I saw them a year or two ago at the Arena and felt the same. The only way I could explain it was that they were performing behind an invisible curtain. Suggs just doesn’t seem very genuine about the whole thing anymore, just seems to be going through the motions. The other band members just kept their heads down and got through their work. It was curiously sterile.

Sums it up perfectly.

Off to see The Wildhearts in Newcastle on Tues. Expecting a reliably excellent performance from Ginger and whoever else is currently in the band!

Canny little night at Ku Stockton again last night, was 4 bands on but got there a bit late as was a xmas do in Leeds during day!
Caught end of Blackout the Arcade, decent local band, seen them a few times around Stockton, always good watch,
Then Casino, never heard them before, but really enjoyed them, proper 70s funk sound,
Arkalya headlined, really like these, great catchy tunes

Great value again, tickets only £12!
