Last 2 gigs of the year for me this week, Trevor Horn at City Hall on Thursday, then Futureheads at Firestation on Friday.

I’m at the Firestation on Friday with owa lass & the bairn.

Then an oasis tribute at the City Hall on the 23rd with the bairn again.

Had a busy December like.

Just booked Baz Warne at Bristol Folk House next Feb. he’s doing a couple of nights at the Fire Station too but sadly too much of a trek for us.

He’s on at Pop Recs not Firestation. I’m off to see him there. Got Madness and Squeeze down Birmingham on Friday.

Off to see The Wildhearts in Newcastle on Tues. Expecting a reliably excellent performance from Ginger and whoever else is currently in the band!

Only seen Shack once. Supporting Oasis at Sheffield Arena. It didn’t go down too well & the bass player walked off mid set.

Went to Sheffield on Sunday after match to See Shack. Thought they were excellent, really enjoyed support The Sway too

I thought it was excellent. Got a bit bored with Martin MacAloon but the Trevor Horn band were great. Lol Crème was class, clearly loving just being there!

Agree Trevor Horn was a really good show, shame not better supported.

McAloon was disappointing. Love prefab sprout but that solo effort didn't work for me, and not a great voice.
