Forthcoming gigs.

Going to see Gorillaz in Manchester tonight. Like you, not sure if I’m looking forward to it or not. Sure it’ll be interesting though
Yeah that’s my take….first couple of albums were great, but since then I’ve dipped in and out.

Went to the House of Kong exhibition while in London and it was excellent, and think I bought tickets on the strength of that.

Enjoy tonight!

Meant to ask, as youd seen his show before - what did you make of this iteration?
It was amazing, like the american utopia tour on steroids. Having see that tour previously I think it took away a little of the wow factor with the way they perform the songs, still highly enjoyable it just wasnt the surprise it was first time round.

Two friends of mine who are at gigs every week both independantly said to me that it was the best gig they've been at (now one of them was a bit of her tits on gummies but hey ho!)

Hes playing again in Dublin in June but its an outdoor gig and I just dont see it working as well outdoors, especially when it wont get dark until after 10

He's playing Halifax in July and I thought exactly the same, the dates don't work for me but piece hall is a great outdoor gig venue.

I’m psyching myself up for James in Bournemouth week Tuesday by compiling a playlist of their songs from the last tour for me and the wife (no) to listen to before the show. The O2 in Bournemouth is smallish, about 1500 capacity, as this is a pre-tour show as well as their Bristol O2 gig, before they play the megadomes. It’ll hopefully be good.

I’m going to Bristol then Birmingham and Leeds the following week. Bring it on!
