It would make more sense..I’m taking my car and the Wylam doesn’t look like it has any parking..looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere anarl.
It’s by Jesmond metro, not that bad is it?

15 minute walk from Haymarket through Exhibition Park. Nice venue but acoustics are shit.

It was my final gig of 2019 last night accompanying my daughter to see Scouting for Girls at Manchester Albert Hall which I hadn't been to before and it is an absolutely fantastic venue.

Love the Albert Hall. Pity about the booze prices but I suppose its par for the course

The booze prices seemed to be a smidge cheaper than Academy Music Group venues such as The Ritz but given that I couldn't hear the bar staff or see my change it was difficult to tell.

I havent been to either of those for a while so I can't compare , but I remember when the Albert switched to selling craft beer. It was pretty low quality but you paid much more than the previous beer options. Seemed a slight scam on a captive market

Wolfgang Flur is playing a few gigs next year including The Lexington and The Cluny.

saw him last year at the Cluny. He was superb. I’ll be there again.
he doesn’t play any Kraftwerk, but he has a projector screen behind him showing his own private photographs from that era.
