Forthcoming gigs.

Aye it wasn’t quite that bad. Very clearly though the Sunderland fans in the crowd at Newcastle stood out like a sore thumb
What I like about them most is they’re clearly just 4 best mates absolutely loving what they do, as we all would. They have a proper laugh doing it and put the same energy into a crowd of 3/400 as they do a couple of thousand or more. I reckon their debut album will do very very well
Yeah they seem genuine and that counts for a lot. Good energy on stage and as mentioned they definitely have a few potential hit tracks in their current material. I was joining in with one or two even after just a couple of listens on Spotify beforehand.

I think most people can pick it up and get into them quite quick which counts for a lot. Talked to a couple from Middlesbrough last night and his Mrs hadnt been to a gig for 15 years and it was only the K’s that peaked her interest enough to go. Mad!

Ticket bought yesterday to see The Mary Wallopers in Manchester in November. Saturday night and £15 so you can’t go wrong.
Been listening to them a lot over the past few days when I realised there’s a record out soon. Not playing up here unfortunately & I duffed a couple of months ago.

I’m slightly obsessed with Cod Liver Oil & the Orange Juice at the minute

The K’s last night in Stockton were absolutely mega

Saw them in stockton also funnily enough, last year. Had a decent following, loads of people wearing Ks t shirts.

Tonight: pictish trail at pop recs which im really looking forward to then deershed next weekend. Hoping for an improvement in the weather

I was there that night too mate! Always a warm, sweaty one in there.

I had a watch of the footage of the set from TRNSMT on iplayer and quite enjoyed it so thought why not?

remembered it was Scarborough, not Leeds. it's just him though, the rest of the band looked embarrassed at his "toon toon" shite. My drunken fuck off you black and white bastard got a few weird looks like... he's from St Helens man
I don't think the rest of the band are into football at all. So it's probably a bit weird for them.

so far this year The Darkness, Chris Difford, Darren Hayes, Kiss and Hollywood Vampires. incoming, Kubix, Dean Freidman, PIL, The Dead South, Dr Feelgood, Slade, Sweet, Hugh Cornwall and Depeche Mode 😎

Eclectic mix! Where are you seeing Dean Friedman?
