There was every need to apologise, ffs!

It wasn’t that he repeated duff info, the problem was he disappeared after posting something that pissed a great many people off and created a shitstorm. No explanation, nothing.

There was absolutely no need to delete his account, though. That is a great shame and I’m certain he’ll be missed.
Ultimately, shaun did the honourable thing. After his inadmissible lie, that was the only way to go.

Warning kids, never drink and post

He's a good lad and as we can now see an honourable one, how many say they are leaving just for the clamour for them to stay then stay, I think he's wrong but it's his decision, we can keep his memory going by making 'doing a Shaun' a thing by way of tribute.

Posting duff info, and hiding for 30+ hours.
Don't forget the hiding. Hi Shaun.

Tbh the reaction on this thread to his original post was f***ing ridiculous. There’s people on here who post ‘deals dead’ on a daily basis and everyone is perfectly capable of ignoring it. So he posted something that turned out to be duff and disappeared. So fuck. He probably looked on here the following morning, saw the horrendous overreaction and grief he was getting and thought ‘fuck it’. Even the reactions to his apologies have been full of condescension a lot of the time. Now a mainstay of this board has left. Think people need to take this thread WAY less seriously.

I posted the other day they were having Lobster Thermidor. In fact it was Lobster Risotto. I survived #Resilience

..... goal earns Safc a 1 nil win at York City.

Those who were there from Sunderland (at least 8000 there in crowd of just under 15,000) will recall the scorching hot day, the crush in all standing parts of the ground, and, the bleedin' wasps !

Sadly, just missed out on promotion that season but overall, it was a cracker.

Au revoir.

Thanks as ever to Statcat.
Well I for one, enjoyed every thread you have posted. Really liked reminiscing about old games, incidents and players.

Please return for me. Have a break and return.
