Those who were there from Sunderland (at least 8000 there in crowd of just under 15,000) will recall the scorching hot day, the crush in all standing parts of the ground, and, the bleedin' wasps !

Sadly, just missed out on promotion that season but overall, it was a cracker.

Fans went absolutely bonkers when the late winner went in. After things settled down a bit, I noticed that there were loads of coins on the deck, which had fallen out of pockets as a result of folks leaping all over the shop!

I quickly collected what seemed to be a fortune to me at the time!
