I’d be happy for the new regime to maintain the reduced prices for this season to new sales. I’d assume the current pricing strategy was part of the due diligence process and budgets have been produced based upon it. The prices are pitched at a very reasonable level, match day prices will need adjusting to encourage ‘walk-ins’ though. The fact that getting on for 17000 people have already committed to season cards before the end of May in our circumstances is quite frankly amazing.

The abject failure to deliver a decent match day experience is fundamentally the major reason people have stopped going. Many will return to watch a team playing decent football and winning a few games. There are those who prefer to watch PL football and they won’t come back, probably even for free. Others will come back, it’s been proven before and I’m pretty confident that should we win games and challenge for promotion we will end up with big crowds.

You seem to think knocking a few quid off a ticket will do that - I don’t. The damage is deep, it will take time to repair but with some shrewd acquisitions and good performances people will come back and the atmosphere will improve massively.

Well obviously you have to factor in the various concession groups but it shouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility to fill a stadium for roughly the same cost as the 17,000 season tickets you’ve already sold.

You might even sell more beer and pies.

There's definitely 10,000 people waiting in the wings to save 4 instalments of 25 quid mate. I'm just disappointed we don't drop it to 150 so we can get back to the 40k crowds. :(
