Think you're wrong there, mate. As other posters have said, It's more likely to be lack of entertainment more than anything else.Main reason people have stopped going is we are not in the premier league.
Under MoN we got good crowds and it wasn't exciting.Think you're wrong there, mate. As other posters have said, It's more likely to be lack of entertainment more than anything else.
Go on? If I've made a mistake I'm happy to adjust the figures.

Alfie boy, what do you think of the appointment? Positive? Underwhelmed?Have a look back and see if you can see it
Good on you mate![]()
lets just fill it!By offering large discounts and refunds to those who’ve already paid. How many do you think we’d sell at say £200 and if was cost neutral to the new owners would it not be a great way to kickstart the new regime.

Fair point but we wouldn't know the background to that. He's clearly very high rated - lets hope we don't ruin his career.Best of those on the list imo although his antics at Hartlepool don’t set a good example.
Adult season card prices already work put at about £13.50 a game. I'm not really sure how much cheaper people want them to make it. No doubt the same people demanding even cheaper tickets would be the first to complain when the playing budget is slashed further to compensate for it.
The club needs to generate more income from gate receipts, because that is one of the areas we've consistently fallen behind our competitors in, not less.
You’ve misread the sentiment of my post mate. I’m not advocating cheaper season tickets beyond one season....and simply for reasons of kickstarting the new regime. A full house week in/week out in that league just propagates the idea that we are far too big a club to be in that league. Gain momentum then normalise prices next season onwards.
And it wouldn’t lose any money for the club if implemented properly.
I think you will find it' because we are shit, who in there right mind wants to pay good money to watch the garbage on offer knowing full well before you turn up we will most likely lose.Main reason people have stopped going is we are not in the premier league.
CACK! it was nauseating football, we were lucky to have one crack at goal in the whole 90 miniutes, he was an awful manager.bolocks, misread, reminder, must wear my glasses..Under MoN we got good crowds and it wasn't exciting.
Put your readers back on man.CACK! it was nauseating football, we were lucky to have one crack at goal in the whole 90 miniutes, he was an awful manager. you have to be on a wind up with a comment like that.

You could open the gates and let people in for free and still not fill a 48k stadium in the 3rd Division. Prices are already very cheap and gate receipts are so important in this league so cutting prices further would be akin th cutting our own throats.
Those who want to pay, and 16,000 already have, are paying a very reasonable price whilst hopefully contributing to a competitive transfer budget for the new manager. Making it cheaper to try to hook in people who clearly aren't all that arsed about going in the first place isn't a sensible idea in my opinion.
But what if they’ve been long term season ticket holders and have just decided not to renew on the back of these last two seasons. They may have been “arsed” for 20+ plus years and anything that can be done to entice them back should be.
If £310 for 23 games doesn't entice them back then clearly their reasons aren't financial ones.
So you reckon approx 10,000 people have been priced out of supporting Sunderland? Should have just said that from the off. Why’s that? Is your supposition based on your spending power or theirs?

I disagree.
