FA Cup Final This Weekend 🏆

Without doubt the most least inspiring cup final you could possibly want.

I've no doubt overseas viewers will be excited by the prospect but I would rather be in the garage doing some cleaning up.

To make it more interesting I will put a bet on, and have it on in the background.

I will go 2-1 Chelsea for the hell of it.
My garage needs a good clean up. You’re welcome to pop up for the day😁. Seriously though, completely agree with your (and that of others on the thread) view of how completely disinterring as a spectacle this actually is. Very sad for the traditions of the competition.

The eyes of the world are all on Scotland.I read it on here earlier.
To be fair Pep always plays strong sides in the cups.
2-3 years ago at the landfill he benched Haaland when he was at his peak for city.Didnt even bother bringing him on after conceding 2nd half and losing 1-0.

Used to watch the FA Cup final religiously until around the time that the semis moved to Wembley. Could name every winner, finalist and goal scorer from the 70s up til then.

Haven't watched one in years (Villa aside) and have no intention of watching this one.

If ever there was a game where you hope the world just ends rather than there be a winner out of the two teams. It's this one.

(I'd absolutely love to win it still of course.)

Nowadays it’s just another game, interest levels are at an all time low, apart from the two teams competing no one else cares.

If it was say Liverpool v Manchester Utd I would actually be looking forward to it. There's just something incredibly insipid about both Chelsea and Manchester City.

Usual for me, up early for a breakfast and stroll. Then get my suit on and watch the build up, soak it all in.
Bit of Question of Sport on the Friday night.
Build up from 9:00am Saturday morning.
David Coleman asking the players what they had for breakfast.
Helicopter following the team bus to the Stadium.
Biggest day of football all year back then.

Wouldn't we want Man City to win and try to finish above Chelsea ourselves?
Of course. If Chelsea beat City in the Cup final they can still lose their 2 remains league games to Spurs & us, só we can finish above them in 9th, maybe 8th
