Na, I highly doubt there will be millions of kids out in the streets playing football after tomorrows final. It's a shame for me not to watch it when I think of how I was when I was a kid. Absolutely loved the old build up , then the game , and out in the street with my mates afterwards .
Wondering if its shit cos I'm an auld bastard but prefer to think it's because football on tv , especially a live game , was rare indeed.
Think it's even longer for me. Can't remember the last time I did that.Dont think ive sat and watched a cup final all the way through for over 10 years. It bores me, which is really sad.
Doing bashed to death sniff deals for local arseholes.Na, I highly doubt there will be millions of kids out in the streets playing football after tomorrows final.
Maybe smashing things up and riding electric scooters with hoods up.
Not fussed. Not watching.
Wouldn't we want Man City to win and try to finish above Chelsea ourselves?I hope Chelsea win & therefore qualify for the Europa League, meaning they could rest up for our game, having been in a tough midweek game v Spurs.
You never know, if we can get something at Everton and then beat Chelsea, who knows what could happen.

Aye used to be all day viewing. I'll watch it but I didn't even know it was this weekend until this thread! Not fussed. Not watching.
Shame. As a kid I'd get up at 9am and watch Cup Final Grandstand.
Well yes, but there's no contradiction there. The big sides still put out weakened teams in the early rounds, but because their squads are deeper, their reserves are still better than most teams. And, other teams have followed suit in making changes for the FA Cup, even lower league teams (like we used to be!), so it is a second rate competition. It only becomes a bit serious in the 6th round/semi-finals when teams can smell money - I mean look at us losing at Port Vale this season in the 5th round. When 'big' sides were putting out reserve teams everyone was saying it was a second rate competition - now when two big sides get to the final people seem to be saying the same thing.
Great stuff! Nostalgia.Aye used to be all day viewing. I'll watch it but I didn't even know it was this weekend until this thread!
