F1 2026

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was just him failing to adapt to the technique needed. He seems thick as mince and with the self awareness of Eni Aluko
Nah they look donald ducked with this shitty Honda engine in the back of the car. Alonso is miles off today as well, oh dear what a shame

I'm pretty sure the Red Bull sidepod has a blanking plate, it's very straight down where you expect the undercut to be, and looks roughly finished carbon fibre. I noticed it on the publicity shots as well but they're running like that. What are they hiding?

Could be they are sandbagging, but who knows.
The other thing is you won't get to see true performance till Aus qualifying

Anyone else a bit bored of this pre season testing now?
No. But I'm already sick of David Croft, who quite clearly hasn't a clue what to make of the new regulations and how the cars will perform and need to be driven, and just talks like its absolutely impenetrable in a tone like we are supposed to identify with his "dumb observer" act.

"Thanks ever so much on that one"

Not hopeful for these engine/battery regs like

I dont want this sport to be a motoring moral high ground, i’m not saying I want dirty v12 engines massive tyres and filthy fuels being used but I want racing, not battery management and deployment, tyre management and lift and bloody coast

Like him or not, Max is a true racer and understands racing cars. He's described them as Formula E on steroids. Worrying.

I think this rule set might be the sport disappearing up its own arse. Making a technically ridiculous formula that is irrelevant to anything, not just road but other series, requiring stupid fiddly driving techniques that are more like engineering and systems monitoring, that are unique to the formula, overcomplicated to watch for the fan, completely impenetrable to the casual.
JV seems to spend more time doing updates to camera than any actual work
He's got this strange way of making an interview response to an unscripted question, sound scripted and robotic, making him seem completely insincere and stiff, almost vainglorious. He speaks like the narrator on Air Crash Investigation
