I can't remember such an eventful race leaving everyone a bit 'meh', I suppose multiple safety cars and driver errors has diminishing returns in the excitement stakes.

Utterly shite race. Few interesting bits, mainly caused by either cars packing up, or going off.

Mercedes will be gutted, a lot thought they’d do well this weekend so to come away with only 2 points is poor.

Great weekend for McLaren though, especially with Alpine having a double DNF

Can’t understand why this penalty hasn’t been applied or not. It’s factual - you are either 10 car lengths behind or you are not. You are either ahead or you are not. Banker penalty, or no penalty. Shouldn’t need a discussion. Likewise, max overtook Norris behind the VSC - why no penalty?

It's odd, I think of it as one of the mainstays, but I think it's just the idea of the original night race, when you stop and think about it, it's worse for racing than Monaco!

That was the last “normal” start time for the UK until the last race

6am next week, then 8pm for USA / Mexico, and 6pm Brazil

It goes on too long which has never helped it imo. Same as monaco.

An hour and a half would be better, 2 hours is fall akip on the sofa stuff.
