Yes there is. The effect you have observed is not due to cutting out gluten. It may be from eating less calorie dense carbs overall but it has nothing to do with gluten.

Can you explain, using evidence backed arguments, why gluten would cause bloating in someone with no sensitivity to it?

I'd advise you to get checked out by a doctor for any complications but as you still eat a small amount of gluten with no adverse side effects you're probably perfectly healthy.

I have no issue with your diet, don't advocate the use of bullshit backed broscience to others though, please.

My evidence is that I switched from normal pasta to gluten free pasta and got more energy from it when working out and lost my pot.....

The first thing I'd say is I'm not the one making any sort of claim re: gluten's effects on your health. The burden of proof lies firmly with you.

But to go beyond that, lest you call me a cop out, gluten has never been demonstrated, in any peer reveiwed, scientific study, to have detrimental effects on people with healthy GI tracts.

There was a 2011 paper which suggested, extremely tentatively, that there may be some people who are affected but that the mechanism wasn't understood (i.e. the effect could never have been attributed to gluten alone, but there was a weak correlation). However, the same research group who published that paper are currently in the process of publishing results which suggest differently, and that they didn't adequately control for other factors.

So, aside from your annecdote (scientifically speaking; n=1 with no controls and a lack of any formal observation other than "I lost my pot."), do you have anything else?

P.S - The fact that you still eat gluten completely rubbishes your annecdote anyway. Gluten sensitivity doesn't work like a dimmer switch. You can't just cut down. It's all or nothing. If the symptoms you see were attributable to gluten, you would still be experiencing them.

I cut out the pasta as this is will be the food that has the most amount of it in, therefore it worked.

Part of attracting funding in that area is understanding the health benefits, or otherwise, of those crops. Gluten is a water insoluble protein composite found in grain endosperms. Unless your body mounts a faulty immune response to it, it is metabolised by your body normally, like almost any other protein you consume.

And I'm saying that had nothing to do with gluten. Nothing at all. It was caused by another, unidentified, dietary or lifestyle change.

So you never feel bloated but there's still some gluten in your diet? Yet you reckon gluten makes you bloated?

I felt bloated after I ate normal pasta, I don't now I eat gluten free pasta.... end of argument
 
I WOULD eat breakfast! Most important meal of the day :)

Avoid bread if you can or at least just eat brown bread if you eat any at all.

Try gluten free products, this could help massively in reducing the gut!

also nuts are extremly high in fat so ditch them if I was you, also ditch the crisps, again they are high in fat

Yeah, that's a given, but I wouldn't just advise ditching or eliminating a food. A diet should be a long term thing and avoiding foods totally is unnecessary and unsustainable.

All I said was I switched normal pasta to gluten free pasta and i didn't feel bloated, so yes there is a middle ground as any other food with gluten doesn't affect me so it is pasta which must be high in gluten.

The metabolism thing you could be right, I just remember reading something about it ages ago so no expert.

I personally eat breakfast without fail as I'm training to gain muscle so when my body is starving in the morning it needs feeding, most important meal for me

I said switched from pasta to gluten free pasta and I didn't feel bloated.

If I eat anything else with gluten in it I am fine so it must be that pasta has a lot of gluten in it.

No science needed just common sense, I feel bloated when I eat normal pasta, I don't with gluten free pasta

I eat normal pasta I feel bloated, I eat gluten free pasta I do not feel bloated.

I eat anything else with gluten I don't feel bloated so it is products that are high in gluten that make me feel bloated.

No science needed Mr Doctor of plants. Get back to the field

That's not common sense. You haven't accounted for every other variable in your diet. If it was gluten related you'd feel that way every time you ate something with gluten in. It could be any number of things, you could be eating more fibre overall or drinking more water.

it means it is to do with high gluten content.........

heres todays food.

Meal 1 = quaker oats, blueberries, 1 scoop whey protein
Meal 2 = Low fat natural yoghurt, honey, apple, walnuts
Meal 3 = Gluten free pasta, chicken breast, spinach
Meal 4 = rice cakes, peanut butter banana
Meal 5 = fish, brocolli, carrots, quinoa
Meal 6 = post work out shake

I drink about 2-3 litres of water everyday

when I was doing this with normal pasta I was bloated and felt sluggish, switched to gluten free pasta (eating the same foods) and felt not bloated
