Erasure

Love a bit of erasure, only really appreciated the words of circus recently, very powerful and a fabulous song.
They're a great synth pop outfit, I immediately think of my early teenage years anytime I hear them.
Bet they're excellent live, I'm well jeal xx

I just think it odd that you feel the need to state your sexuality when saying you like an erasure track.

I like that track too, but don't feel the need to post that I'm bisexual, lesbian or straight.

Not really a massive deal just a thought.
It’s very much a gay iconic anthem and an absolute belter too.
I bet if the op hadn’t added the sexuality but to his post, someone would have asked if he was gay or similar
Edit
The posts following yours demonstrates that

Erasure was one of the tapes we used to listen to going to away matches in the late 80’s.

The Innocents album.
It’s great how music can take you back, being in a Ford Escort Ghia with mates going up and down the motorways and the driver hadn’t even passed his test.

Seen these on there opening night of the tour at Glasgow Armadillo last Friday..Our lass managed to get seats front row and centre. Probably best gig I've been to. First gig I'd been to for 18 months. Let off some serious steam singing and dad dancing to some of the catchiest pop tunes ever made 😎😁

Class. We're off to see them in Manchester this weekend

Edinburgh the next three nights - half our guests are going, nearly all cake-loving late 40's. But one couple, the guy is a MLF, turned up in Sunderland leisure gear and when I reacted in the obvious manner he showed me his git big SAFC ship badge on his leg. Doesn't get on here though apparently.

Gay euphemism's in amongst that little tale. 100%

First band I ever saw live. I was 13 or 14. Went with my mate from school and he was well in to them. He came out as gay later. It really shouldn't have been a surprise to me when he told me years later

Gay icons or not they're a cracking band. Brilliant pop music for the time and still sounds good today.
