bumbles fucked that up that taste test up

when it comes to scones its cream then the jam on top

we even did the test at work, jam on top won by a landslide in terms of presentation and it still took about 70% of the vote for taste.

Kill the other 30%.

Did anyone hear Boycs say that the Durham attack was better than Sri Lanka's (and then joked that on yesterday's performance it was better than England's)? Or have I missed that thread?

fucks that supposed to mean?

if you put the jam on top of the cream you can put the scone in a washing machine and the jam will still be on top of the cream. (or all over ya clothes).

scone, then cream with dollop of jam on top.

any other way is wrong.

Kill the other 30%.

agreed.

None of the bowlers have been very good. But the attack has looked very one dimensional as well.

i cant see any reason why they went with finn when you had tremlett and broad in there. very odd.

I'd imagine it's because he's got test experience and this is his home ground. Still, it always looks like being the wrong decision.

thought this england set up were a bit more ruthless and would have took the hard decision and gone with a swing option.

never mind.

sri lankan shouldnt have anything to trouble our batsmen so at least a draw for us.

Club life's back :-) And did I see Marsden CC at one of the grounds they showed there?

This doesn't look like a result pitch, unless it starts to turn.

This game shows just how important Jimmy is to the team and we need to hope he's back for the next test, and if he's not we need a swing bowler in the team.

this game shows just how are bowling attack really isnt as good as is made out by the media and in turn the fans. There is no X Factor in the bowling and against good sides on flat tracks we struggle at times.

I didn't know Burnley was in the north east.

Because he's out injured ;-)

I thought Broad was top class though and in a rare opportunity to lead the attack his bowling average for England has now crept over 36 in close to 40 test matches.

to be fair Broad has been out injured for a long period and is not 100% back in the groove as it stands which is understandable
