Fair enough mate all about opinions.
Does there ever become a point though to move him up and if so when?

Perhaps.Finn, Woakes, Onions or whoever else was in better form would have taken the wickets if he hadn't played.
For example, 11 wickets in the last Ashes, at an average of 48, 9 wickets in the preceding home series Vs WI at 37. How many times, prior to getting dropped in SL, did he take a place from a spinner, on subcontinent trips?
That said he has been a great bowler for England in the main.
Yep. Leach looked like the better batsman in that partnership.Poor shot that.
Is that it for Burns? 7 matches, 14 innings, 312 runs @ 22.28
Should be, but who takes his place? I can't bear the thought of Jennings coming back.Is that it for Burns? 7 matches, 14 innings, 312 runs @ 22.28
Crawley or Sibley? Personally I'd be begging Alistair Cook for one more seriesShould be, but who takes his place? I can't bear the thought of Jennings coming back.

Jack Leach looks a better opener than BurnsBack to the perennial roundabout though. We can’t find anyone to open with Burns never mind another to replace him. All of our options for 1-3 are shit, so what can you really do about it? Guess you just have to stick with two and hope they sort themselves out

Damaging times when a number 11 shows every England opener over the last five years how to play, mind.
