England v India (Third Test) Headingley

Hameed looking decent. Sibley would of left those past two 4s well alone. Just hope this opening pair can build something, as I'm still not sold on Burns. He got lucky that Sibley was worse than him.

I just think mate and guess time will tell when a international cricketer has such limited shot selection, international teams find them out more than ever with more analysis that ever before, I will be surprised if he plays for England again but he has a chance due to the limited options.

There’s always the possibility he goes away and finds another shot or two. We’ve seen even the slightest change of stance have massive positive effects on the capability of several batsmen over the years.

He’s got half a dozen games in the Championship between now and the Ashes squad announcement to find a bit of form and if he scores a couple of hundreds there’s every chance he’s on the plane to Oz.

Bloody marvelous this, who would have predicted this before the start 45 for 0 after 78 all out.
No-one. That’s why it’s such a fantastic game. India having a moral boosting win, everyone bemoaning all of the injured seamers, the likes of Rohit and Rahul looking as if they have adapted to English conditions, their off form batsmen Pujara and Rahane getting runs at Lords and we roll them out for 78 after losing the toss  Then to rub it in Hameed and Burns make it look a different game. If Carlsberg did cricket days.

Can we get a first innings lead with 10 wickets still in hand?

I think they already did, on this day 2 years ago.

Yeah of course think he needs too, he will not be the first batsman to go away and improve and I am sure he will need too facing Cummins, Hazelwood and co.

Thought it was perfect for him making his debut after the last Ashes rather than during it as may have struggled big style and not come back from it
Just nice to see them bowl well as a unit for once. Obviously seething that Buttler was involved in so many dismissals like.I might just see him bat been there tomorrow
I might just get to see him bat tomorrow with been there the way things going :D
