England v India (Third Test) Headingley

The Truth

We’re an absolute f*cking shambles. India will win the series and they’ll balloon about as if they’ve beaten the greatest England team that’s ever walked the face of the earth.

Root and Anderson aside, none of the f*ckers would get in the team of the 90’s that are so often the butt of people’s jokes.

Absolute disgrace that Wood was asked to bowl on the final morning after injuring his shoulder. He even damaged it further by going for a caught and bowled.

If we had our first choice XI we would win.

Looking forward to it. Forecast is set decent all weekend, and I'm there on Thursday + Friday.

I know on the internet that hyperbole is king and everything has to be as polarised as humanly possible. But the way people are going on, you'd think we were beaten by an innings in 3 days that last match. The collapse on the last day was bollocks but up until 60-70 overs in the game it was still a realistic possibility for all 3 results.

Hope this is as good of a game as the last one.

I said in the winter they would beat us over here whatever surfaces we prepare. We will never know if we had Stokes etc in but they are much better now against the moving ball and are a top class side.

I agree. We did though lose that game despite having brilliant conditions to bowl in first up and the best of the conditions throughout. It could be argued if we can’t beat them when things are so strongly in our favour when can we? Anyway a new day a new opportunity. Haway England.
