plenty of batsman play pulls off the front foot, if you track a bowler and they bang it in short many batsman adjust and pull it

It just seems like one of those shots that wouldn't work off the front foot as it surely would cause the batsman to over balance as they would be leaning over their toes at the point of impact. I could understand a batsman transferring his weight from back foot to front foot during as he finishes the shot, just like KP did off the last ball of that over just now.

Tbh, for years I struggled to work out the difference and I'm still not completely sure now but I think it's mainly height related, most shots classed as a pull, the point of contact seems to be between waist and chest, whereas those classed as a hook shot seem to be between shoulder and above.

Just my interpretation of it.

correct

the pull tends to go square, the hook behind

Don't think I've ever seen a slip catch swing before mind.

Was a strange one wasn't it

If Dhoni hadn't have moved for it, it should have been Dravid's all day long, but once Dhoni went, given his position he could have caught that quite easily if he kept going IMO.

Injury problem here for Khan?, just pulled up and is going off, potential hamstring?
