Starc was virtually as quick. They timed more balls in that one over than England did in the whole powerplay. You can see it even with the more defensive shots - that was a little push there (second ball of the third over) and it nearly got through the infield.

The only shot England have here is if they knock people over, the RRR is a cruise with the ball coming on.

Starc bowled it tight though. Archer went short short short. Another 6 from his short stuff. And Starc went slow about 3 deliveries in

It looks tight if the pitch is two paced, which it was. Bairstow was hacking it nowhere - he's got a good enough eye to time some of them, even if they're a hard length.

The ball's flying off the bat here.

The way the commentary is going you would think it was our full team
Jesus Christ bairstow

The bowling’s rank, wood apart.

There's no margin that's why. Australia could bowl a length or back of a length and you couldn't time it because it was two-paced, sticking in the pitch etc.
Aussies can play through the line because it's skidding on, there's no safe length here. So they're trying to mix it up and getting picked off.

This is a prime example of why you shouldn't have day night matches in September - absolutely unnecessary for a 3 hour match.

Some end of term fielding, unfortunately there's an ODI series coming after this...

Total crap like that. The pitch doesn’t change to the extent you are letting on. The biggest problems the wide bowling and shit fielding. Could have these 10 runs less and 2 wickets more and it’d be game on
