You can't double touch it anyways mate. Never could. Always been stopped when it comes back off the bar and back to the taker. Normally they get out the way though.

That only got stopped as the lad touch a touch. Just the same as if you slip and double touch it in.
Aye. I seem to remember John MacPhail hitting the bar and scoring from the rebound, only for it to be disallowed.

Sounds about right. Think Mahrez slipped over taking a pen for Leicester against City 2 seasons back and it got disallowed for double touching too.
