They were probably promising looking youngsters at 16/17. Fact is, solanke wouldn't be worth £18million if he hadn't had been on Chelsea and liverpools books. If he was exactly the same player , but worked his way up the lower leagues, he might curently be in the Bournemouth squad on ability (just) but he wouldn't have cost them £18 million
