Eddie Howe

if its going to be a English manager its him vs potter

based on performance alone you would think he is front runner ( must have a bit about him as much as we like to say the mags get lucky all the time, make your own luck and all that). just hope if its him the FA say he cant have that f***ing tit as his assistant and foist carlsey on him as part of the deal

I think Howe or Potter would be a good appointment. I'd expect both to get England playing better football with the players available. Wouldn't surprise me if the FA appointed lee carsley though.
funny if he turned it down then the choppers gave him the chop the smarmy twat
He'll not be at Newcastle much longer imo.
The way he was talking the other day sounded like he knows his time may be up. Be surprised if he's still in charge by the time of the January window opening.
Wouldn't surprise me if he's gone before the end of August either.

He might have some clause for England.
May well do, no idea was just a quick google to see how long he had left on his deal. Hopefully does go as he has the mags playing well when he has a fit team.
Need a mourinhho there to destroy the team😂😂

As much as I can't stand the bloke, he should be the next England manager

Newcastle must be getting itchy trigger fingers with their Saudi riches. They'll get an upgrade eventually.

Howe edges Potter for me. When it comes to English managers, there's no one else if we're being honest.
Big Sam or Tony Pulis for me

Great shout! All bases covered, Big Sam in charge of tactics and pints of wine, Pulis has scrapping in the showers with nowt on nailed down in a way that Pep could only dream of

Being England manager is a really good screw. Paid to travel the world first class everywhere ... Luxury hotels and Premier Clubs and the EFL licking your arse where ever you go. Yes its high pressure at tournaments but that's softened by a massive salary ( not sure but ££millions + ..who wouldnt want that ?
