Durham's one day cup campaign

He's never played or been called up for the white ball stuff.

Someone said on here he's in Dubai with his lass.

Can't blame him booking a holiday if the club said we don't want to give you a contract for this tournament.
Normally DCCC are very good at explaining what is happening with the playing staff. We almost never have to guess what is going on or relying on people having 'heard something'. They are exemplary in this aspect of keeping supporters informed. Well done to all concerned.

I've lost count on the number of times there has been a misfield due to a divot in the pitch, hopefully the same happens when it's our turn to bat.

What a late inning shambles. Every time they bat first I end up saying that they got 30 more than they should have done. Haven't been able to do more than dip in and out this morning but thought that at one point they'd be happy to get 300. Agree about questioning the bowling management. All of them. Happens far too often.

Our last 4 bowling efforts, you can't expect to win many games if you can't defend a total of 350+ or expect to chase them 300+ totals more than once.

We only just got over the line chasing 321 so not sure how we do 355 today,

390/5
321/8
320
354/7

....... yet another 350 odd today, 320 v Northants and Lancashire ..... 380 odd v Middlesex ......... add in our recent County Championships efforts where every team hits 350 plus at will and in one case 800 plus ....... and you can see that our bowling is now as weak as its ever been. To be fair .. with Beddingham, (excluding this revolving door season ) Clark and an in form McKinney our batting is decent.. but failed recruitment in the bowling, especially Conners and the Gloucs kid (so far) ....... coupled with seemingly endless injuries we literally now are incapable of producing any wickets at key times in games. There is nobody left to turn to ....... and whilst I hope our batters can dig us out of another hole today the bowling , Ben Raine apart is a mess and has been all season. Taking 20 wickets twice in two of our last three CC games looks like a pipedream, I genuinely hope I'm wrong !
when is it acceptable to question Onions?
NOW !!! ...............

Yeah I was never exited over Onions coming back here. Hasn't worked so far.

Got a feeling the jobs-for-the-boys recruitment could continue with Benks coming back as coach next season if Campbell feels he's had enough.
