Durham v Yorkshire T20 29th May 2026

Part of why I’m not going is because I was originally under the impression it was a fully reserved seating thing. I like to be able to move around depending on the sun to get the best view. But now the above article has gave a little bit of clarity and I THINK I get it now. It’s still not 100% crystal clear what the actual process is though.

I've managed to access the map to book.
Assume I can just add seats for both myself and the little one as I've got a season ticket and he's got a junior membership.

Quick look suggests there are absolutely loads of seats available to reserve so this seems a bit ott if they've going to refuse entry without a seat reservation.
I'd have no issue if I turned up and someone was sat in the seat I've reserved.

Seems not. Anyone any idea how I reserve a seat for a junior member/season ticket holder?
The only options are
Member
Season ticket holder
Adult general sale
Junior

The junior option is to buy a ticket.
The season ticket option won't let me assign it to anyone else.

I’m the same, I like to move around for the sun and also to get a different perspective. I can’t find the bit on the website about sitting anywhere but the website isn’t the easiest to navigate

I’ve picked a random seat in an unpopulated area in the County Durham stand. Can’t see any mechanism to add it to my phone wallet so I’ll try to print it off tomorrow morning

Bit of a clart on, could be a few disgruntled members.

I predict @The Red Telephone leading the Trapdoor Casuals in the storming of gate 6 🤣

I'd open the pdf on your phone and just screenshot it.

It's a right clart on. Looks like I've got to log in to each individual account and reserve a ticket. Only I've started with one, there are two next to it but when I try to grab the second one it won't let me leave one seat on its own!!
Think I might just pop down tomorrow afternoon when the women's start and try and sort it in person.

Why are they actually encouraging spectators to sit anywhere they like at anytime during the match ?
The correspondence I’ve had from Durham Cricket say that you have to reserve a seat if you are a member. There isn’t a particular part of the ground reserved for members though.

Although the spectator information article on the site suggests they have kept some part of the ground as if a member hasn’t booked a seat by today they will be allocated a seat in a designated members area. Just to add to the confusion.

It’s a right mess, isn’t it!

Few of the students already turning up. Jumpers over shoulders, button up shirts with Chinos & Methven quaffs on full display.

I can already feel a left wing rant coming on.

Where are they sitting? Watching the end of the Women’s game and can’t work out if there is anyone in the Trapdoor
