Durham v Yorkshire T20 29th May 2026

We bowled and fielded well so didn't have a big score to chase down. However instead of building a platform and accumulating runs decided to try and chase it down in about 10 overs. Seen this happen before. The way we started you would think we were chasing 300. A self inflicted defeat totally unavoidable.
This!

With last Sunday clashing with the lads at home to Chelsea was great to finally get back to the riverside this summer, glorious evening weather wise, thought we'd fielded n bowled well n we're in with a good shout 🤦🏻‍♂️ wasn't to be, brilliant to see so much sunlun related apparel this evening though also bit annoying how many none cricket fans were around me also and not knowing the etiquette of end of over before disrupting everyone, excited for tomorrow to watch my youngest lad make his 2nd team debut for our village team the day before his 15th birthday

Farce I turned to mate when Bedders holded out that we be out for under 100 in 15 almost bang on.

Clearly Lees did not watch the first match as the lasses easily defended 140 anything around 150 was always going to need a strong power play.

Really don't know what we do about Robinson & Ackerman just walking wickets Robbo played the same chipped drive 3 balls in could of been caught but decided to run himself out

Robinson was good against Derby

2 promising youngsters,McIntosh and Bushnell, discarded in favour of those 2 external signings.
Rhodes has been a poor signing, especially when you consider the money he must be on as a marquee signing. He's had one or two decent innings but mostly against weakened sides in the One Day Cup and friendlies. His bowling is barely batting all rounder standard. Keaton Jennings bowled better seam.

Bringing in Rhodes and Aldridge must have been a factor in Coughlin's departure.

Let down once again by inexplicable batting decisions and a standard of play that really insulted the work our bowlers put in. Bowled a tight score we could’ve easily chased down but played like it was a race against the clock. Both opening batsmen dismissed for a combined score under 10 is really poor
