Durham v Yorkshire T20 29th May 2026

What’s the crack here, I don’t even know where my account is, isn’t the T20 included with our membership?

We are holding a Ballot for our Vitality Blast rivals week fixture against Yorkshire on Friday 29 May!

Our Durham v Yorkshire fixture is expected to be very busy. The Friday night under the lights fixture promises non-stop T20 excitement, fierce rivalries, and an unforgettable atmosphere as two Northern powerhouses light up Chester-le-Street.

To give our fans the best chance of securing their desired seat, we are operating a sell-to-seat system and a ballot process this year.

Members and Season Ticket Holders do not need to enter the ballot and will have a priority window between Monday 26 and Friday 30 January to select their preferred seats before other priority windows open. A complimentary ‘ticket’ will be available in your account from 26 January, allowing you to select your preferred seat online.

Those who are not Members or Season Ticket Holders will have the chance to enter the ballot to secure priority access for this year's rivalry fixture. The ballot will operate between Wednesday 7 and Wednesday 21 January. Those who are successful in the ballot will have between Monday 2 and Friday 6 February to purchase their tickets and secure their seats.

I’m a member and had the emails as well. I’ve just ignored it as I’m sure most people have. You’ll get in no problem on the night

I've read it as they are expecting it to be very busy, so members get an opportunity to pick a seat, then remaining seats will go on sale, rather than the usual unreserved seating

what a mess, its never "SOLD OUT" unless its a ploy to make a few panic into buying them, not even sure im bothering with a season ticket this year for the T20's, Barin plays cricket a lot on a friday night and on a sunday so not sure how many ill even get too

I was confused by the comms as well. I've not bought a season ticket for this years T20 comp and also get the kids one through the All Stars.
So what would happen if the ballot was over subscribed and people buy season tickets at a later date? Just don't get this game?

if you could pass the discount code on when you get it would be much appreciated,

Are they expecting to have reduced capacity or something? Or is there some kind of regulatory change that is obliging them to sell allocated seats this year?

Because otherwise this makes no sense. they’ve never had to “shut the gates” in past years and the Blast is less well attended now than seven or eight years ago.

If it was a regulatory change presumably it would have to apply for all games. Presumably,as has been suggested, there 's reduced capacity but this can only be temporary with Internationals scheduled. Little reasoning has been given which is worrying.

Good point re regulatory. But if there are capacity issues this season, even if the explanation is typically crap, it doesn’t seem exactly onerous to click a button online to get your allocated seat in the window. You’d look a bit of a berk turning up on the night and finding out then that for once there was some genuine reason.

May I just ask whether people have had emails from DCCC about the Yorkshire game or are getting the information from elsewhere.

I'm just asking because I haven't had anything and I didn't get another email that has been referred to. I check junk folders and blocked senders but nothing.

Anyone link working to book seats? When I press login it just takes me to the international screen. Why have they added this faffy step?

I’ve just procured two tkts for my keeper n me. Not sure why we need them but there you go.

Probably just fans of The Fast Show and want to watch this scenario being played out on the Friday evening at the Riverside.

Was there a dedicated page for this?

When I log onto my account the only tickets available are the international ones,

I think I am being thick so any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

On Durham CCC website:

Go to tickets – Tickets & Parking – Log into your account – scroll down on MY ACCOUNT PAGE – at bottom of page click 2 and it will be there Special Offer Vitality Blast T20 – click buy now and it will come up.

I let it select best seat and if member click for free ticket.

Good luck, took me a while to suss it out!

When we chose our seats we noticed nothing available in the trapdoor. Student night as well?
