Disagree with that. This rot is unbelievable and it's not because of two games. Confidence is shot to bits and it will have been either his decision or North's decision to to give control to Walker/Gidman like last season, so why change something that worked??? This low morale & confidence stems from his leadership. Maybe if some of the younger lads had been given game time in the white ball T20 campaign, they may feel a bit more equipped going into this competition, but our glorious Lead Coach said he picked the best team for the T20 and it was "good experience", for the younger players to be around the first team..... At a time they were getting pulled out of NEPL games at the very last minute only for them to be carrying the drinks. Stanley McAlindon was in every T20 squad and never played one game in the starting 11 whilst getting pulled out of games for Chester Le Street at the very last minute.... Does that do anything for player development? Marcus North at a recent members forum said it's a happy dressing room/the best Ollie Robinson had ever seen/attitudes are great etc.... I will leave that for others to form their own opinion but a credible rumour of dressing room unrest recently and the body language of the last two games, in my opinion suggests all is not well. I refer back to the McAlindon incident today, just utterly ridiculous. A clear out is needed and it starts with Marcus North who has recruited utter rubbish and his side kick Franklin who has over seen some shocking results. Some people on here saying watching Durham this year reminded them of the Minor Counties days and early 90s.... All that aside Franklin clearly isn't commited to the club as I said last year, get rid. North is with the 100 also albeit he has been at the two games this competition it doesn't scream someone who is fully committed to Durham does it when he said it's the younger lot who will chase the money yet he's in the franchise also. The county form is rubbish, the T20 was an embarrassment (we picked the best team.....) And the one day cup so far has been ridiculous.. why change who is in charge....???? Best ask whoever made the decision and that will likely be North or Franklin. Get rid, neither would be missed. Also North recruited Maddinson.....

Just frustrating at the moment, go every game, every day and it's really tough to watch and I'm very worried where the club is heading at the moment.

I will happily praise when it's due and criticise when it's due. I'm not afraid to do so, I've asked questions in person when we have been given the chance to do so, as long as I'm not foul/abusive I think that's fine and fair. It that bothers people, then fair enough.

I've got to meet some really good friends through the cricket, friends for life and long time supporters/members of the club........ some of them even didn't attend today as they're just worn out and fed up of it and need a break. The wife is the same, she's not been much this season, it's soul destroying for her and she was gutted watching the last 2 games, she's having a break and not attending the game on Friday..... we'll be at Grantham though :lol:

The club need to be very careful though in terms of attendances/membership renewals. It's our decision to take time off/purchase memberships/attend games, but how long people are going to tolerate flat wickets/hammerings/boring cricket/inept coaches/very limited communication.... I'm not so sure.

Highlight for us both today was meeting Phil Tuffnell. I wish I could be more positive about the cricket, I just can't at the moment it's very difficult.

It needs a clear out starting with North & Franklin. The club cannot allow this to go on much longer.
