What goes around comes around. I've said it before but at times the groundskeeping at first class counties is rank amateur. They have one job overnight, to protect it from the conditions and have failed.
As bad a crime as substandard pitch. They should be docked points and fined. Then some counties may actually invest in ground protection technology that isn't from the 1800's.

Clearly have covers which don't cover. But if the uncovered outfield is bone dry suggests that they didn't remove the covers early enough to allow it the pitch to dry.
