Durham v Glamorgan (h) C.C.

Vindicated? 😅
Credit where it's due but I'm just not sure why he's in for if we are going on merit/performances (that said he's on a 3 year deal). Mind you it's a good chance for some bowlers to make a point here as Glamorgan are just here to play one day mode. I'd have still had Clark in the side
And Pratt gets his finger out.
Took him ages mind and for that reason I don't believe he was 100% sure
Glamorgan fan just collared me... "Why are so many people thanking us for turning up to play a game"

For anyone interested you can redeem the Surrey game free drink and sarnie voucher for this game as well...but you have a long wait in the members bar as the usual outlet behind the new scoreboard isn't open.

Good to know! And by chance I have them with, although they just say Game TBC on them.

Somewhat bemused to see Clark not given an opportunity yet Coughlin is selected. Handful of us in the county Durham upper.
Also nice to see the opposition make the effort to travel and fulfill a fixture.

Surely you’re not comparing the selection of a bowler to a batsman…?

If you talk about merit - Clark failed in his last opportunity in red ball cricket (whilst Jones excelled). Clearly there was only one space up for grabs and they’ve gone with Jones. Can’t argue with the decision at all. White ball cricket and red ball cricket are so very different.

I'm just not sure what Coughlin has done though, even to be ahead of Salisbury (who took 7 wickets in the seconds whilst Coughlin took 2). Few questions about the starting 11 given it all means nowt and this game here I'm struggling to take seriously. We aren't the biggest squad and I think we don't have the luxury of solely basing performances with white ball but I'm a tad bemused. Suppose we have to justify a 3 year contract. I'd like to think Campbell got a go at some point earlier, he took 3 wickets last game. As for Jones,.my thoughts are crystal clear as they have been for a good while
Not at the game today, but wondering if teams can be arsed at this time of the season with nothing to play for.
Glamorgan turned up for a whack.
Some atrocious scores around the country today.
Yup because their is nowt to play for. I think Gloucester were about 80 all out.
