Could be wrong but sure it is. Known a few people who have worked there and you get the usual crack of it being haunted.....apparently by a kid with pipes

Apparently rose west daughter was houses in murton, where I live. To make it easier for her to visit her mother. People didn't know and took the piss and called her rose west, just purely for her resemblance.

Then when there was a murder of a litrle girl (was it Laura kane) and the body was found in murton, they evacuated a load of paedophiles and also roses daughter, and that's when people started to think it was her.

:eek:Is that right? You just don’t know what goes on do you. Surely it’s wrong though putting these people (paedos) in general community without our knowledge.

Not originally, but he lived in murton at the time.Colin Bainbridge and was Laura Kane from penshaw the little girl.

Grim. I sometimes walk past the house where she was found, it's flattened now, and there's a memorial to her.

Makes me sick like. You see stuff like this on the news and when you see it in real life it's in comprehendible

It’s awful like, incomprehensible is a pretty apt word.
 
The old Durham Jail is an absolute shithole. No idea what it's like now mind but back in the day they often had three people crammed into cells the Victorians designed for single occupancy. :)

The day they found the body half of murton was blocked off, my mate knocked on my door and said there's 'an incident' we went up and was nuts. We didn't know, thought it was drug raid or summit. Then when it sinks in.

Some evil fuckers. And even if durham is tough it's not tough enough for these Bastard.
