surely you've just contradicted yourself there mate? i'm not disagreeing, what you enjoy is what you enjoy.

a bloke acting a twa@ through 10 pints is as much of a knob as a bloke acting up through too many pills.

true, and not defending the pissed bloke (just devils advocate) at least he's legally a knob. moderation is the key. never understood the need to get pissed/high.

I'd happily tell my gran I went for a few pints. I assume my parents already know that I have sex with my wife. I don't smoke, but I doubt I'd feel the need to hide it if I did.

Would you happily tell yours about your love of cocaine?

If i could then id probably not tell me mam. I did hide smoking form her for years, me dad was fine

i've got a few probelsm with saying no to more beer when i'm smashed to be honest. that said i just go into stanby mode and stand there like a statue and the eyes roll back.

A good test is what would your mam, your dad, your gran and your employer think.

These lads saying there's nowt wrong with squeezing into a toilet cubicle with another fella to snort cocaine, I bet their old nan's would be so proud, if only they knew.
I bet they think like that about the amount of booze people drink as well.

in the same way they do alcohol on the job yes. if it's off the job then they have no right whatsoever.

But coke stays in the system longer than alcohol. You can tell when someone has had a drink at work but coke is less transparent. I really can't believe anyone could make an argument to legalise cocaine.

i've never, ever seen that at a match. (i do sit in the east stand mind;-))
or at an away game. i think if i did see it i'd just presume they were bummers.

If you take it at work then fair enough but not if youve had it in your free time. It might stay in the body but the effects dont. Quite a few times ive woke up the next day still pissed but ive never woke up and still felt high from coke

You must've done.

According to this thread there are thousands doing it at every game.

the employment lawyers would have a field day with that i suspect.

and yes, i think it's pie in the sky. it is funny though how pervasive coke is through the global economy when you read some of the stories out there. miami in the 70's/80's for example.

Don't care. I don't want my mother getting on a bus when the driver has coke in his system even if he took it on his day off.

Id rather that than the driver being hungover like

Not one person has said thousands of people squeeze into the toilets taking coke at games

It became the fashion in California. Even old ladies had some in their bags even though they never took it.

i used to be like that and then i realised i was missing out on all the crack due to being so drunk. the difference with me now is i don't drink to get drunk.

add that to what was seemingly widespread money laundering which i assume, must still go on.....

depends on the occasion for me. i'll grow up at some point.

Really? You must love your mum. I'd prefer neither.

Being still drunk or feeling hungover is much worse than any next morning feeling from coke. Ive never really felt bad off coke tbh, blocked up nose is about it

Anybody want to do the obvious and say they knew one of them as a right twat at school or similar?

"operation bacon" who thinks these names up

I'd hope that being drunk and/or hungover would be immediate grounds for dismissal in a job where the safety of others is concerned.
