On amazon the fly more combo with 12 months care refresh is currently £538, with the option of 5 x payments of £107.

There are very strong rumours the mini3 is being released in april. Im hanging on till then to see what the price is. If its silly money il be going for the mini2 which will no doubt be reduced when the 3 comes out. At present with care refresh that is a good deal.

If i was you id hang on, even though its hard.:lol:

For me it’s all about the weight and how that impacts flying

I’m registered with CAA but want to keep within sub 250 grams so I can fly legally in more places.

I like the cheaper price in case I lose it. I would not want to write off 2 grand

I have the original mini

you can fly legally anyway, what it stops is flying above or close to uninvolved people
 
Yup your average plod is not going to know what the rules are or what drone they are dealing with.

it’s just about avoiding any aggro and if there was an accident.

just found this blokes video who emailed them and asked and sure enough it's if there's loads of people on the beach. basically, common sense.

You know, there was a Drone today being flown in downtown ottawa, didn't look like the large police drone that's been monitoring crowds, quite windy with snow squalls, the drone hit a building and fell to the pavement between the crowd.
 
Exactly. Drones are pretty hard to crash these days if you are reasonably capable but it still happens.

A couple of hundred quid is bad but 2 or 3 grand is a very bad day out!
 
There's some leaked pics of it and the controller online but not sure of authenticity, but seems some are saying its genuine. It will be out of my price range anyway, but was hanging on to see if the mini 2 came down in price.
Not sure if it will, but the mini 1 dropped in price with the launch of the SE.
Mini 2 fly more combo dopped £50 on amazon since yesterday....now £480.
And back up to £529.....that's.
