The vaccine is free not sure about the tests.

So, in a country where there is a large swathe of the population who are broke and have no healthcare it really is a never ending problem. They can’t afford a test and have no healthcare, if they work they have to go, sick or not. That whole country needs a bloody good shake up, this “why should I pay for other people’s healthcare” idea needs to be knocked out of them. I have friends over there, one had to use the nhs over here and sings its praises, others are stuck in the individualist con. We need to ger as far away from their ideals as possible.

The disinformation and lies put about by anti-vaxxers will be responsible for a number of deaths from people who've based their decisions on what they've read/heard, no doubt about it. Very sad.

Nah, there's a big population of people who are vulnerable to that kind of misinformation: those elderly who get confused or worried, people with learning difficulties who might not be able to sift genuine information from bullshit. Those people don't deserve to be very ill or die because their thinking was swayed by paranoid weirdos posting from the bedrooms they never leave.

My SIL got the vaccine yesterday.
A 55 yr old nurse who has come out of retirement to work till the pandemic is over.
