Dodds

All season has needed to recognise we are very poor at taking our chances, especially shots outside the box and it needs extra work on it.
Other than that he has them working well as a passing team most of the time

Is he really a bad coach
Him and proctor have to do it all.
A manager would usually have a bigger team with a much better assistant to help.
Hes taken on a lot tbh.
Obviously liked by the players he will be an excellent assistant to a new manager coming in
He's f***ing shit and needs peddling ASAP to allow a new manager to bring in his own team
And if that manager fails then get rid of his whole team for a new team to come in yeah 👍👍

Depends how you look at it and which side of the fence you look.

Good coach for a defensively minded approach to stifle a very average Leeds side to claim a nil nil draw

Or to send out a team at home that get whooped off Blackburn in one of the all time horror shows at the SOL setting up because they hadn’t won an away game since November.

Dodds has shown zero consistency. He doesn’t lead or excite and his tactics are very limited.
He says in interviews what the fans want to hear and is suited to coaching rather than management.

He does what the owner and DoF expect of him, we don't need that we need someone with more ambition and someone who will push them for what is needed for the team to progress, not just individual players, those on high see us as an academy not an ambitious football club, Dodds is probably fine as a coach working day to day with the lads, but they need a leader and someone to look up to, not a mate.

Think he's very much a work in progress and naive. He'll eventually be decent, but has a lot to learn. Tbf, I think we are seeing with the whole team what we saw with Dan Neil and Callum Doyle in the promotion season - young players burnt out by the end of the season, who's confidence dictated their performance disproportionately.

On that basis, I think most coaches would struggle here at this point in time, and Dodds with his naivety really has had a baptism of fire.

He has them working well ? We’ve 6 points from his last 10 in charge . They can all sit behind the ball and frustrate. The hard bit is doing it at the other end
