Deutshe Bank

I worked with a lad who left his wife and 3 young kids to move in with a tidy Deutshe Bank high flyer he met on tinternet. It was a strange move as she was canny tidy and sophisticated whilst he was one fat ugly bastard with seriously shit patter.

Anyway, she took her redundancy and they spent money like it was going out of fashion. It all went on some place in France they hoped to develop in to holiday rentals. The money ran out before it was anywhere near completion and it all went tits up. If she is anything to go by it's no wonder they are in trouble.

I read it as they will take 25% if they can't raise funds elsewhere.

Toxic at present to who other than the German government can help...

We all know about denials....

It's their only option really.

The gov certainly won't want them to fail, especially with the current uncertainty in Europe etc...but it's a big ask!

No chance of DB going under. It's the most connected bank in the World. If it was allowed to fail it would take everything down with it.

It has a raft of issues including a significant net derivitives exposure. It's actual total gross dividend exposure is about 45 trillion dollars which is 3 times the gdp of the European union. That figure means nothing but it does have a massive net exposure as a result

So are we going long?
The SMB needs a new Xcite Energy.
