The Bridge Lad
Striker
Odds on at both Coral and Ladbrokes now. I know Sam was 4/7 around 6pm yesterday, but encouraging signs nonetheless.

Security guard at Goodison ParkCan't imagine Moyesie being arsed on who our next manager is. Be more concerned on lining his own next job up.
"This time next year, we'll be out of debt"Del?
I hope he brings Rodney and Grandad as his assistants, can't be any worse than our current bunch
McColl is back
Would you like him here?Odds on at both Coral and Ladbrokes now. I know Sam was 4/7 around 6pm yesterday, but encouraging signs nonetheless.
Calm the fuck down, man.I think you'll find that the Scotch managers , being from the distilleries, don't really have the competency to coach footie teams so there' s no prospect of that happening!
On the other hand there is a hot favourite ( Derek McInnes) who is a Scot but divnae let that confuse you. I'd encourage you to still function as the Grammar Policeman .....oh the fuckin irony !

I'm more into this appointment than I would be for Hodgson etc. Young manager who's improved year on year and isn't afraid to take on a challenge. Aberdeen play intense football, high pace and in the face of the opposition.

Yes lets have Scot's or Scottish insteadNo more Scotch managers, please.
Agree with that marra. Don't pay much attention to Scottish footy but his Aberdeen performance has won plaudits over the past year or so. If he's driven, progressive and a good man manager he'll do for me. The transfer knowledge would be a worry to an extent but I'd expect that the club has most of the groundwork done by this point. And with the inevitable - and perfectly correct - use of the loan system that is coming, I'd expect it'll be the contacts of Simon Wilson that do the heavy lifting.Would you like him here?

Got him On the rocks there.Whoosh ya fucker![]()
We've already had the undeadI hope not. I know Shorts appointments have all been disappointing so far but appointing a dead bloke would be a step too far imo.
We have just been managed by the "energy vampire" for an entire season. A dead bloke would have been more upbeatI hope not. I know Shorts appointments have all been disappointing so far but appointing a dead bloke would be a step too far imo.
He's got experience in the league we are now in. He failed.Which gaffers have come from that league and done well in ours with no previous experience in our leagues?
