Understand your point but there clearly is a “multi-tier division” in the squad. Some players are just better than others.Reinildo is f***ing excellent but what self respecting player would sign a deal if they get removed from the team when they’re playing well? Goes completely against the way Reg runs his team and makes it clear that there’s a multi-tier division in the squad.
Is that similar to plyometric training?Seems like he’s gained an extra yard of pace in his time out. Maybe been doing a lot of polymetric style training. He’s ready to play premier league football. Would love him to sign a new contract but have a feeling he’s away. His performances mean another prem team will offer him a contract in the summer or we may take a fee for him this month if he refuses a contract! Brentford were linked in the past.
We haven't played anyone yet man.Harsh Vauxie lad?
Dennis has been more than decent when called upon in recent weeks - has he not?
Early leader for most ridiculous post of the year. He’s twice the player Hume is but he doesn’t do hard sliding tackles so people don’t love him as much
Years ago could make the same comparison between Steve Whitworth and Joe,Joe,Joe Bolton which rather confirms your point. He’s twice the player Hume is but he doesn’t do hard sliding tackles so people don’t love him as much

Missed that. Surely depends on if it was pre or post game……I’m struggling to make my mind up between this one and the one saying Pattos should have played instead of Roeefs yesterday, it’s a real toss up.
Not at all two goal in two games cost us now Hume and if that wasn’t a penalty yesterday the other once certainly was he’s not quick enough fit Cirkin is far the better playerEarly leader for most ridiculous post of the year.
mate, everyone it entitled to an opinion, but you’re talking absolute wet. Cirkin is a good player but you don’t need to tear down another to make your point. Both are good fullbacks, but Hume has proved himself at this level and Cirkin is on his way to doing the same. Not at all two goal in two games cost us now Hume and if that wasn’t a penalty yesterday the other once certainly was he’s not quick enough fit Cirkin is far the better player
Reinildo is definitely a better left back - albeit Cirkin is better going forward imo. But you can’t separate the wider context. Particularly when we’re not desperate for every single point. Reinildo is 32 and Cirkin is young, improving and a player we need to tie down. If we drop him for Reinildo immediately it would likely end any hopes of getting him signed up. That’s not good for SAFC in my view - and is more valuable than a minor uplift in team strength for an individual game.Understand your point but there clearly is a “multi-tier division” in the squad. Roefs gets injured, Patto comes in and does well, Roefs is fully fit again, he comes straight back in. Same as Sadiki heading off to AFCON, he comes back and takes his place in the XI because we are a better team for having him in. Same with Reinildo, not a slight against Cirkin, but Reinildo is a level above.
Ur off your trolly mate. So that’s one mistake in 2 games. Mukiele gave the ball away for Brentford’s first and then Leeds penalty, so that’s 2 in 2.Not at all two goal in two games cost us now Hume and if that wasn’t a penalty yesterday the other once certainly was he’s not quick enough fit Cirkin is far the better player
When players renew contracts they usually negotiate a signing on fee I think, as the club is still saving on buying a new player.This. Financially we will be able to put a package together that will still be cheaper than a signing another left back on massive money with a signing on fee too
Fair enough, I get your point. Don’t agree that Cirkin is better going forward mind, but he does have time on his side for improvement. But tying Cirkin down would be good for the club, but should he want to move on, I wouldn’t be devastated.Reinildo is definitely a better left back - albeit Cirkin is better going forward imo. It’s just unnecessary money and a potential hg issue to me. There’s players out there (I really like Thierry Small for instance) but that’s gonna cost us £10m to get done. Or we get a foreign lad and kill ourselves on the limits.Fair enough, I get your point. Don’t agree that Cirkin is better going forward mind, but he does have time on his side for improvement. Twice the player is a daft statement, even for you. He’s twice the player Hume is but he doesn’t do hard sliding tackles so people don’t love him as much
