Dan Neil

Im not talking shite. You want a comparison.

Watch sadiki when our defense have the ball.

Then go and watch neil at ipswich if ipswich arent winning.

He will stand by his marker not wanting the ball. He did it the final v sheff utd and many other games.

Compare him to a player like hackney at boro who he has fallen miles behind and hackney might not even be good enough for the premier league.

Neil is a bottom half championship midfielder
In his 3 seasons at us, we finished in the bottom half of the championship once. We were in the playoffs twice.

He has then been signed by a team chasing promotion and is playing well

But a fella on a messageboard knows better than managers, players and most fans and he must be terrible.....

The lack of loyalty to our own homegrown players is something I will never understand on here

No ill feelings from me. Yes I was frustrated at his performances at times, but overall he gave me way more good times as a supporter than bad. We should all thank him, wish him well and move on. He's lived the dream, hopefully he can go on and have a great career. We're in a much better place than when he started, and he more than played a role in helping us get there.

nope, that is indeed a black hole between his ears

I just don't understand the hate that Dan Neil gets. Like O'Nein, he stuck with us through the shit and played a massive part in getting us promoted back to the PL.

We have upgraded on him - he doesn't offer what Sadiki or Xhaka does.

But would he do any worse at Burnley in the place of Ugochukwu for example? I think that's up for debate.

We are a mid table PL team and our players reflect that. Neil is a top Championship player and could still potentially do a job at the bottom of the PL.

We have just moved above his level.

People say mad things when we play poorly and lash out at players, usually the easy targets - currently O'nien, Hume , Mayenda , Mundle etc...

When they say rash things about these players, they then go on to actively want them to fail so the fan can say 'told you so'

Most rational adults can say 'i think so-and-so player may struggle in the premier League' and later on sat 'i was wrong, they've played well"

Even if the players mentioned have their limitations , they are still good squad players for us. They have all proven that haven't they..

Also believe Hume has played the most minutes for us this season...

I think he has.

I'll trust the judgement of RLB and his coaching staff over people on a message board

It'll be interesting to see who is still here in the first team squad next season. I think Mayenda and Mundle might not be .

I think Hume and O'nien will be

Its this rubbish why neil gets slated. People make stuff up when posting positives about him.

Neil is a worse player than Ugochukwu. Hayden hackney is a top championship player not dan neil

Neil is a top championship player .

I'm surprised he's not been involved this season

You want him to fail. Your opinion is utterly worthless
